Profumo di Firenze 1954
Profumo di Firenze 1954 traces its historical origin to the Galardi family’s first cologne, created in 1954. In 2004, Enzo Galardi renewed that fragrance as a fiftieth-birthday project, turning the family cologne into a new Profumo di Firenze olfactory project. Over the next six years, he expanded the line with Cinquantaquattro, Dolce Prospettiva, and Terrarossa, while also shaping its bottle design around an inkpot that belonged to his father. The brand’s creative identity brings Florentine perfumery tradition into contemporary fragrance interpretations. Its current corporate information places the project under Arnoway Srl as a Galardi-family proprietary project. The 2024 catalog presents two collections, Dante and Firenze, as interpretations of Florence and its perfumery heritage. Colonia Fiorentina provides the clearest link between past and present: it is the 2004 renewal of the family’s original 1954 cologne.
