Profundum

Profundum is a Polish fragrance house founded in 2024 by Dominik and Bartek, after Dominik created the initial Martyr composition in early 2023. Built around their shared creative vision and friendship, the house conducts its formulas and production in Poland while collaborating with local artists, entrepreneurs, studios, and artisans. Its creative identity connects fragrance with memory, emotion, nostalgia, nature, art, fashion, and personal self-expression, without classifying scents by gender, occasion, or season. Dominik Schneider is a co-founder, perfumer, and designer associated with Profundum; his graphic-design background has shaped the house’s visual and olfactory language. Martyr, the inaugural composition, established a smoke-led direction inspired by youthful rebellion, bonfires, music subcultures, and black leather. Presented as Profundum’s debut at Polaris Olfactive Week in 2025, it was described as smoky, leathery, resinous, and earthy. By 2026, Martyr had repeatedly sold out, and Profundum had produced another batch.
