Pull & Bear
Pull&Bear was launched in 1991 as a fashion-store chain created through an Inditex market-segmentation strategy. Initially aimed at young male consumers, it offered basic, internationally influenced fashion with fashion, price, and quality as its stated premises. International expansion began in 1992 with stores in Portugal, followed by entries into Greece and Malta in 1995 and Israel in 1997. In 1998, the brand introduced its first women’s collection, added the sportier, more technological Xdye line, and created its first website. Its identity is casual and stereotype-averse, combining international trends with street and club influences while adapting alongside technology, social movements, and artistic and musical trends. Pull&Bear remains part of the Inditex Group. Its 30th-anniversary program in 2021 included the (Un)Catalogued denim capsule, 19.91 Colours, collaborations with NFL, Starter, Space Jam: A New Legacy, and The Andy Warhol Foundation, plus the Pacific Game digital project. In 2025, it launched Behind the Scent, its first complete fragrance collection, comprising ten eau de parfums created with international perfumers.
