Quick Flick
Founded in 2017 by Perth entrepreneur Iris Smit, Quick Flick began at her dining-room table while she studied interior architecture. The brand grew from Smit’s difficulty creating winged eyeliner, leading to a stamp-based tool designed to simplify the application. Within three months of launch, Smit appeared on Shark Tank and later rejected an investment offer. Quick Flick subsequently expanded beyond eyeliner into skincare, sun care, tanning, brow products and other multifunctional beauty tools. Its creative identity has emphasized compact, time-saving products and makeup as a form of self-expression, alongside campaigns featuring real customers rather than models. In 2025, the company rebranded from The Quick Flick to Quick Flick with a refreshed logo, simplified packaging and updated digital identity, while retaining its problem-solving focus and winged-eyeliner origins. The brand also offers Serving Scents, a fragrance collection intended for mixing, matching and layering; five Quick Flick perfumes were recorded as released in 2025.
