Rajani

Rajani is an Italian niche fragrance brand founded by Raffaella Tarana in 2018. Its name means “night” in Sanskrit, and its identity draws on darkness, moonlit panther imagery, and perfume as an atmospheric language. Trained as a pharmacist, Tarana works between Paris and the East, transforming memories and personal inspiration into fragrances. Rajani presents its perfumes as Italian-made creations with complex olfactory structures, prominent ingredients, and an emphasis on raw-material quality within eco-sustainability principles. By October 2019, the house had developed beyond its first four fragrances, presenting Morocco and O-Fu-Jing as new editions at Pitti Fragranze. Its creative approach follows personal intuition and changing self-expression rather than fragrance trends or a single fixed signature scent.
