Ramon Molvizar
Ramon Molvizar was created in Barcelona in 1999 and takes its name from Molvízar, a town on Granada’s Mediterranean coast. Its identity draws on the plants and minerals associated with that landscape, especially the contrast between the Mediterranean coast and the mountains. Perfumer Ramon Béjar adopted the name as his perfume identity because he was from Molvízar, Granada, and served as creative director for the first 13 Ramon Molvizar fragrances produced between 1999 and 2010. The brand combines olfactory, sculptural and design arts, with bottles shaped after quartz and natural crystals. Goldskin, first created at the end of 1999 and launched with suspended 23-karat gold flakes, inspired the wider series. In 2001, Pure White Goldskin extended the same bottle concept in a white-gold version after requests for a men’s fragrance. The later Royal Molvizar collection brought together 15 ideas developed through collaboration among designers and Spanish perfumers associated with Ronzak.
