Rasei Fort
Rasei Fort is an Australian fragrance brand whose creative work is led by perfumer Rasei Fort. Its fragrance path began in 2005, when a visit to Saudi Arabia introduced him to attars and agarwood; after returning to Melbourne, he started the Desert Rose attar business before moving into niche-fragrance collecting and original composition. Self-taught, Fort spent six years experimenting before launching the brand, whose first recorded release was Kolonya in 2018. The house draws on personal experiences, travel, cultures, raw materials, and historical references, while its visual identity reflects an interest in vintage perfume labels and medieval history through embossed metal plaques. Fatih Sultan Mehmed was named a finalist in the 2017 Art and Olfaction Awards Artisan category, followed by Impressions de Giverny in 2018. Kolonya offers a defining fragrance example, interpreting childhood memories of Fort’s grandfather’s garden in Cyprus. In 2025, the line was revamped and new fragrances were added, with offerings presented in Classic and Limited Edition sections.
