Raydan Brand

House of Raydan Perfumes LLC was founded in 2008 by Yahya Mohammed Somar Al Zadjali. Raydan’s identity is centered on Omani frankincense, particularly Hojari frankincense associated with Dhofar. Before developing its first fragrance, the founder researched the frankincense tree, wrote a book about Omani frankincense, and pursued extraction research with French fragrance expertise. The brand’s name is connected with an ancient name for Dhofar, while its fragrance names draw on Omani historical and cultural references. Its range includes frankincense perfume, fragrances made from natural-oil extracts, bath and body products, and hotel amenities. Raydan participated in the Condé Nast International Luxury Conference held in Oman in 2016. Luban was the brand’s first fragrance: a frankincense-based Omani product that received Sultan Qaboos’s approval.
