Rebecca Minkoff
Rebecca Minkoff traces its beginnings to 2001, when Rebecca Minkoff created an “I Love New York” T-shirt for a five-piece capsule collection. She formally established the company with her brother, Uri Minkoff, in 2005. That same year brought the Morning After Bag, whose initial boutique order sold out immediately and was quickly reordered. The brand moved into ready-to-wear in 2009 and developed into a lifestyle label spanning apparel, handbags, footwear, jewelry, and accessories. Its visual identity combines bohemian femininity with rock-and-roll edge through leather, suede, prints, relaxed silhouettes, and distinctive hardware, with Minkoff as its central creative figure. In July 2025, the Sunrise Brands-owned label announced a shift from an inventory-based structure to a licensing-driven model; Minkoff retained creative leadership and brand stewardship under the new arrangement.
