Régine's

Régine’s is a Parisian parfum and toiletry house associated with Régine Zylberberg, the Belgian-born French singer, actress, nightclub owner, and businesswoman. Zylberberg established her first Paris club, Chez Régine, in 1956, and her international nightclub empire provided the public cultural context around the Régine’s name. Her creative identity was tied to nightlife: she was credited with creating the discothèque format, while her clubs became associated with international celebrity and jet-set culture. The house’s documented fragrance history begins with Régine’s in 1989, followed by Jimmy’z in 1991, Zoa in 1992, Régine’s for Men in 1993, and Palace in 1995. In 1988, Interparfums signed a license agreement for the Régine’s brand, then became its exclusive worldwide distributor in February 1989. The eponymous 1989 fragrance, developed by Inter Parfums as its first original fragrance, is identified as the house’s signature scent.
