Fragrance house

Renoir

Renoir refers to two fragrance brands documented in different periods and places. The historical Renoir fragrance house was established at 20 rue de la Paix in Paris in 1939 and launched fragrances including Futur, Messager, and Doña Sol. It was affiliated with Piguet, used Raucour bottles, and was distributed in the United States by Mauvel Ltd. of New York. Historical accounts also record the company producing Renoir, Raucour, and Piguet perfumes and filling Piguet trademarks during the Second World War. Messager, a women’s perfume released in 1939, is described as apparently discontinued. Separately, Renoir Parfums identifies itself as a Bulgarian fragrance brand. Mladen Kolev is named as its creator, with Renoir Group Ltd. placed in Shumen, Bulgaria; reference data lists editions from 2023 through 2026 and Kolev as perfumer.
