REPLICA

REPLICA is the fragrance line of Maison Margiela, the Paris-based French fashion house founded in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela. The house’s identity is rooted in deconstruction, nonconformity, and presenting fashion as artistic expression, with visual codes including a blank white label, four stitches, numerical coding, and brush-stroked white paint. In 1994, Maison Margiela introduced REPLICA fashion pieces: garments and accessories reproduced from items selected around the world, with labels recording each original’s source and period. OTB acquired full control of the Maison in 2006 after Renzo Rosso became its majority shareholder through OTB in 2002. Maison Margiela received the Haute Couture appellation in 2012, the same year the REPLICA fragrance collection was introduced. Its perfumes translate the earlier reproduction concept into fragrances that evoke recognizable moments, shared memories, and personal stories.
