Ricardo Ramos Perfumes

Ricardo Ramos Perfumes de Autor began in 2004, when Colombian-born creator Ricardo Ramos established himself as an independent artistic perfumer in Europe and presented his first creations in Barcelona. Based in Granada, Spain, the brand is identified with author perfumery, drawing on Granada and Andalusian olfactory heritage while connecting contemporary compositions with Latin American, particularly Colombian, cultural references. Ramos remains its central creative figure as creator, evaluator, and art director, with Colombian-British perfumer Jorge Lee credited with formulation collaboration. Its early Agua de Barcelona collection launched in 2004, followed by a collection devoted to Spanish Andalusia and, by 2020, the Deminiche collection. Deminiche broadened the brand’s identity toward Colombian tropical-fruit themes through green mango, green papaya, and pitahaya accords in compositions developed by Ramos and Lee. Ramos also created GranadAroma, described as Spain’s first international event dedicated to olfactory culture and independent artistic perfumery; its 2026 edition was organized by Ramos with the Granada Chamber of Commerce. Papá was included in Cartagena Scent’s La Huella Olfativa Colombiana, while Inkera was presented during Cartagena Scent as a perfume made with Colombian vanilla from the Chocó region.
