Rodin Olio Lusso

Established in 2007 by Linda Rodin, Rodin Olio Lusso began in her New York City apartment, where she mixed essential oils under the influence of an Italian beauty aesthetic and a belief in beauty through simplicity. Its starting point was a face oil made from 11 essential oils after two years of formulation; that product became the item most closely associated with the brand and was described by Vogue as encapsulating it. By 2017, Rodin Olio Lusso had extended its range beyond facial oil to additional oils, soaps, and lipsticks. The Estée Lauder Companies acquired the brand in 2014. Linda Rodin stepped down as creative director in 2017. The Estée Lauder Companies lists Rodin Olio Lusso as discontinued in March 2021.
