Fragrance house
Room 1015
Room 1015 publicly launched in spring 2015 as a French niche fragrance line with Electric Wood, Atramental, and Blomma Cult. Its founder, Michael Partouche—known as Dr. Mike—combined pharmacy training with experience as a guitarist in London rock bands before turning to fragrance after returning to Paris. The brand’s creative identity draws on music, rock and roll, counterculture, alternative philosophies, and fragrance as personal expression. Its name points to Room 1015 at Los Angeles’s Continental Hyatt House, a hotel associated with rock musicians and the destructive excess of 1970s hotel culture. In 2016, Power Ballad became the fourth fragrance, a tribute to the carefree, romantic, rebellious 1990s created with the Flair perfumer duo. Cherry Punk, launched in 2020 and composed by Jérôme Epinette, is a bestselling leather fragrance.
