Roos & Roos
Roos & Roos was created in 2014 by Chantal Roos and her daughter Alexandra around their shared love of perfume. The brand began as Dear Rose and adopted the name Roos & Roos in 2018 because the original name implied a rose-focused identity that did not reflect its fragrances, while the new name highlighted family transmission. Its work brings together Chantal’s experience in perfume development and Alexandra’s background as a singer, guitarist, and composer. Alexandra manages the brand image and artistic direction and meets with perfumers, while Chantal contributes her fragrance-industry expertise. Chantal began professional perfume development at Yves Saint Laurent in 1976, and Opium launched 18 months later. Before creating Roos & Roos, she was associated with Opium, L’Eau d’Issey, and Le Mâle. The brand’s creative approach connects music and perfume through shared ideas of composition, notes, and harmonies. Its early fragrance work was organized into Original and Exclusive collections.
