Rosae Virtus

Rosae Virtus is an Italian artistic and niche fragrance project that grew from Novaspina, an agricultural company producing selected roses and irises for sale across Europe. Founded by rose and iris grower Davide Dalla Libera, who established the Novaspina nursery in Padua province in 2011, the project extends that botanical work into perfume. Rosae Virtus was publicly presented as a new Italian fragrance brand at Esxence in 2023. Its creative identity centers on translating real botanical subjects—especially roses—into fragrances that reflect their natural olfactory character, with the rose explored through the four seasons. The initial concept comprised four seasonal rose perfumes, including Rosa Vere, built around Rosa centifolia and presented as a particularly realistic expression of the flower. By 2025, the brand had broadened its creative expression with Greenade, a green-leather fragrance by Claudio Zucca inspired by the scents associated with a gardener, including plants, soil, tools, and flowers.
