Rosine - Paul Poiret
Rosine – Paul Poiret began in 1911, when Paul Poiret founded Les Parfums de Rosine and named the house after his daughter. The perfume house formed part of Poiret’s wider fashion, fragrance, and decorative-arts enterprise, with fragrances developed alongside perfumers including Maurice Schaller and Henri Alméras and presented through work by artists such as Paul Iribe, Raoul Dufy, Georges Lepape, and Atelier Martine. In 1930, Les Parfums de Rosine was acquired by Oriza Legrand and later came under the Société Centrale des Parfumeries Françaises. Marie-Hélène Rogeon relaunched the house in 1991 with authorization from Poiret’s daughter, Perrine Duval, retaining the Rosine name and creating new formulas rather than reproducing the originals. The revived brand is especially identified with rose fragrances, with La Rose de Rosine—first launched by Poiret in 1911—serving as a principal historical reference for the revival. After Rogeon’s death in 2021, her son Louis continued the brand and introduced a more modern, unisex direction through Les Extravagants.
