Rosy & Earnest

Montreal-founded Rosy & Earnest was created by sisters-in-law Caroline Gélineault and Marilou Hamer after they found few fine-fragrance alternatives offering complete ingredient disclosure. Its identity centers on transparency, third-party certification, and safety. The woman-owned, founder-led brand launched on March 16, 2023, with Be Rosy and Be Earnest, described as among the first EWG Verified eau de parfums—second worldwide and first in Canada. Nathalie Feisthauer was the perfumer behind the launch fragrances, developed with the independent Paris-based company Lab Scent. On April 23, 2024, Rosy & Earnest added the EWG Verified gourmand fragrances Pistachio Delight and Vanilla Rum Royal, bringing its publicly described collection to four scents. Vanilla Rum Royal, a vanilla-centered fragrance with rum and woody facets, received ÇaFleureBon’s Best of Scent 2024 recognition.
