Roullier White
Roullier White is a design-led interiors boutique and independent perfumery based in East Dulwich, London, founded in 2005 by Lawrence Roullier White. It began with practical home goods—white bone china, Egyptian cotton towels and scented candles—before expanding into the Mrs White’s range and a broader fragrance selection. The name joins Lawrence’s mother’s maiden name, Roullier, with his father’s surname, White, expressing a balance between unusual fragrances and products and practical everyday goods. He shaped the store as a comfortable, familiar and adaptable setting, combining old shop fittings, black-and-white house colours and 1930s imagery; Mrs White’s drew inspiration from his great-grandmother. Its perfumery identity rests on discovering and presenting artisan and lesser-distributed perfume houses, selected for provenance, history, story, quality and originality, rather than on one signature scent. Lawrence died in January 2017, and the brand’s current site presents a collection assembled in his name.
