Rubini

Rubini is an independent Italian fragrance project founded by Andrea Bissoli Rubini and based in Mantua, with its first creation drawing on family history in Verona. That family history reaches back to the 1930s, when Andrea’s grandfather Pietro Rubini opened a perfumery in Verona. Rubini launched its first perfume, Fundamental, in 2015 as a contemporary interpretation of that historical tradition. Andrea developed the creative direction with perfumer Cristiano Canali, consultant Ermano Picco, and artist Francesca Gotti, in an ongoing dialogue with Canali. The project combines historical perfume references and family memories with contemporary aesthetics, working outside fashion- and trend-led formulas. Fundamental is Rubini’s defining fragrance example: an homage to Pietro Rubini and a fragrance described as personally representing Andrea and the brand. On 24 November 2024, Rubini launched Hyperion, framed around outer space and inner self-discovery and marking its first collaboration with fragrance manufacturer MANE.
