Rubino Cosmetics

Rubino Cosmetics is an Italian cosmetics brand founded by Loris Rubino, who regarded fragrance composition as an artistic process. The brand exhibited at Cosmoprof in 2009 within the event’s luxury-perfumery context. Its best-documented collection is Room 726, a unisex trio of Red, White, and Black launched that year in cooperation with perfumer Federica Isoardi. Inspired by childhood scent memories, the collection uses three color-coded versions and a creative framework assigning symbolic meanings to the numbers 7, 2, and 6. Rubino Cosmetics’ recorded fragrance catalogue comprises seven releases concentrated in 2009 and 2010, including Cosmo, Predateur ou Proie, Providence, the Room 726 trio, and Shock. Predateur ou Proie is described as a niche fragrance inspired by the sounds and colors of nature.
