Ryor

Founded in Prague in 1991 by Eva Štěpánková, Ryor began as a small home-based cosmetics company. Before starting the business, Štěpánková had 17 years of experience at the Institute of Medical Cosmetics, along with experience in cosmetics development and production. Ryor first made products for professional beauty salons, then introduced a retail line for home use in response to demand from salon customers. Its approach combines cosmetic chemistry and scientific knowledge with natural extracts, alongside a long-term aim of making functional, accessible cosmetics for a broad range of users. Ryor is a Czech family firm associated with Štěpánková and her daughter Jana Štěpánková. After Eva underwent emergency spinal surgery in 2017, Jana took over management, while Eva later withdrew from day-to-day leadership and continued as an adviser.
