Fragrance house
Sabe Masson
Sabé Masson was founded under Isabelle Masson-Mandonnaud and developed around alcohol-free solid perfume sticks known as Soft Perfumes. Its defining concept, Skincare Fragrance, brings together alcohol-free solid and liquid perfumes carried by cosmetic matrices, combining fragrance, skin care, and sensory design. The brand expanded into alcohol-free liquid fragrance with an Eau de Parfum launched in 2015 and the announcement of Liquid Soft Perfumes in 2017. In 2023, Boris Gratini, co-founder of Nailmatic, and Hélène Ortola became majority shareholders, while the Upperside Group remained invested. After a five-year dormant period for financial reasons, Sabé Masson was described in March 2025 as returning with renewed focus on alcohol-free skincare fragrances. The house is especially associated with solid Soft Perfumes and the broader Skincare Fragrance category, a continuity reflected in its solid and liquid formats.
