Fragrance house

Salle Privée

Salle Privée was launched in November 2016 by Patrick Munsters as a Dutch menswear label centered on timeless wardrobe staples. In 2018, designer Anna Hegeman joined Munsters, and the Amsterdam-based House of Design dates its founding to that partnership. Salle Privée evolved from fashion and perfume into a house focused on fragrance, with a creative identity combining minimalist, timeless design with art, architecture and music. Its perfumes are conceived as expressions of mood rather than fixed personal signatures, supported by a layering approach that treats different scents as a fragrance wardrobe. Le Temps Perdu expresses this mood-and-memory concept through references to Marcel Proust, nostalgia and smell-triggered memory. In 2024, Salle Privée collaborated with Ronald van der Kemp’s RVDK on The Mind Vaccine, a project involving perfumer Isaac Sinclair and recycled and upcycled materials in its fragrance and packaging story.
