Sante

Sante is a German natural-cosmetics brand within LOGOCOS, with a current identity built around certified natural cosmetics, plant-based and modern active ingredients, and vegan formulations. The company’s history began around Hannover’s Alraune health-food shop, founded by naturopath Hans Hansel in 1975, followed by the establishment of Lorien Goods in 1978 to develop natural cosmetics. In 1985, Lorien Goods became Logona Naturkosmetik GmbH after concerns about possible confusion with L’Oréal. Sante was part of Logocos Naturkosmetik AG when L’Oréal agreed to acquire the business in August 2018; the transaction was completed on 17 October that year. On 6 March 2023, CoBe Capital acquired LOGOCOS from L’Oréal, including the Sante business. Since then, LOGOCOS has described itself as independent again, with Sante, Logona, and Heliotrop forming its current brand house. Sante’s products use naturally derived fragrances, but the available evidence does not identify a signature scent or fragrance collection.
