Santi Burgas
Founded in 2008 by Santiago Burgas Bou in Catalonia’s Empordà region, Santi Burgas is an independent perfume house shaped by its founder’s work as creative director and principal perfumer. Its olfactory concept draws on ants’ scent-based communication, while its creative purpose is to express Burgas’s sensitivity freely and resist conformity with mass-market perfume trends. The first collection, Lôant, launched in 2010 with fragrances designed to be worn individually or combined as an olfactory communication system. The White Collection introduced a more intuitive, experimental direction; its ÔIKB fragrance, presented at Esxence in Milan in 2016, pays tribute to Yves Klein’s International Klein Blue and modern art and is identified as a signature Santi Burgas scent. The current brand structure includes the Primal Waters, White, Palindrome, Lôant, and special-edition groupings, although Lôant is discontinued.
