Fragrance house
Savour
Savour is a Swedish perfume house founded by perfumer Linda Landenberg Holst, who launched it in late 2021. Landenberg began her career in beauty in 1988 and moved into perfumery in 2011 after studying chemistry in Sweden and perfume in Grasse, France. Savour’s stated philosophy, “Doftgarderob,” or fragrance wardrobe, treats scent as a way to express different sides of personality, mood, and circumstance. Its creative concept draws on Landenberg’s memories of spring, summer air, flowers, and Mediterranean family gatherings, while its fragrance creation, packaging, storytelling, and visual identity were developed with design studio Motherland. The launch collection comprised seven fragrances, each presented as a distinct personality or state of mind rather than a gendered product. Steel by Naim, made with Swedish fashion designer Naim Josefi and inspired by cold steel and the Nordic midnight sky, received the 2022 Beauty Oscar for Best Designer Fragrance. In 2022, Savour also introduced Flavour of Love, a fragrance dedicated to LGBTQ+ people and associated with a donation to Regnbågsfonden.
