Scent Hunters

Scent Hunters began in 2018 as a creative partnership between perfume critic and Aromablog author Ekaterina Khmelevskaya and fragrance specialist and evaluator Lyubov Berlyanskaya. Berlyanskaya also served as Brocard’s creative director. The project’s legal entity was registered in 2021, and the SH SCENT HUNTERS trademark was registered in January 2023. The brand launched publicly that year with four fragrances: 1000 Bandits, Pervertea, Love and Oysters, and Hello Darkness. Presented as a perfume atelier, Scent Hunters develops fragrances from its own briefs rather than reworking Brocard projects. Its creative identity centers on complex contemporary niche fragrances intended to reflect the present instead of reproducing existing perfume models, with the founders making only scents they themselves would want to wear. Among the launch fragrances, 1000 Bandits is a modern interpretation of classic chypre and leather traditions, created with perfumer Angéline Leporini.
