Sebastiane

Sebastiane is a United States fragrance brand founded in 2012 by Robert Elder, who is identified as its perfumer. Elder’s creative identity combines studies in fashion and perfumery with an emphasis on using scent to evoke memories, dreams, aspirations, and shared experiences. The brand’s early references included Elder’s love of latte and Dario Argento’s Suspiria; the film’s trilogy influenced Immortal Meadow, Black Magic, and Wish Upon a Star. After launching Espresso Royale and the first version of Immortal Meadow, Elder spent about two years building a following, developing the website, reaching distributors, and redesigning the packaging before releasing Black Magic, Urban Legend, and Wish Upon a Star in 2014. Released in 2012, Espresso Royale quickly garnered a cult following for its realistic coffee scent, shaped by Elder’s love of latte. Black Magic, released in 2014, was directly inspired by Suspiria and conceived as a dark, mysterious, sexy, loud fragrance with its own personality.
