Setsuna

Setsuna is an Australian fragrance brand based in Sydney, created and owned by Steph, also identified as Stephen Murray, who makes its perfumes. Its name translates to “a moment; an instant,” reflecting an approach built around scents connected to stories and personal meaning, with each perfume intended to evoke or preserve a particular moment. The recorded collection began with Dancing In the Moonlight in 2024 and continued with In Love Someday in 2025. The brand has also developed a creative collaboration with artist Sunce, whose songs share the titles of those perfumes and extend their dreamscape. Setsuna’s fragrance legacy is beginning to take shape around In Love Someday, a marshmallow-centered scent with iris and a vanilla-milkshake character. Dancing In the Moonlight has since been reformulated into a creamier version positioned as a sister perfume to In Love Someday.
