Seven Gates

Seven Gates is a Turkish niche perfume brand founded by Muhip Önal in 2021. It is identified as a Nokta Cosmetics brand, whose origins trace to Nusret Önal’s first Nokta store in Diyarbakır in 1975 and whose business developed from boutique perfume retail into a fragrance-brand chain and distributor. Seven Gates introduced its first fragrance line, the Duality Collection, in 2024, with five extrait de parfum and five eau de parfum compositions. Developed by creative directors Berkan Başoğlu and Muhip Önal, the collection combines fragrance with digital art and explores opposing forces as complementary aspects of existence. Digital artist Cihan Engin created illustrations for its ten themes, with the fragrances composed to express the stories of those visuals. Seven Gates made its documented public introduction to the international niche-fragrance scene at Esxence 2024.
