Sezan

Founded in Paris in 2013 by Morgane Sézalory, Sézane evolved from her online vintage venture Les Composantes, where she began combining vintage pieces with her own designs. The brand’s identity is rooted in a digitally native, Parisian fashion model centered on quality, accessible design, and a wardrobe intended for real life. Its brand family includes Octobre Éditions for men, Petit Sézane for children, and Les Composantes as a home and lifestyle destination. In 2018, General Atlantic acquired the minority stake previously held by Summit Partners; in September 2022, Téthys Invest acquired another minority stake alongside Sézalory and General Atlantic. Sézalory remains Sézane’s largest stakeholder. The company has been B Corp certified since September 2021. In August 2026, Sézane introduced a more mature, slower, and more intentional creative direction, with a new logo, website, and more edited product rhythm. Its fragrance legacy includes L’Eau Sézane, created by Jérôme Di Marino and characterized by the scent of fresh laundry.
