SG79|STHLM

Created in 2015 as Romella International AB’s own Swedish niche-fragrance line, SG79|STHLM takes its name from Sibyllegatan 79 in Stockholm, the address associated with the company; Romella International AB is now within the Romella Holding AB group. Its original concept joined Romella with Swedish photographer and artist Dawid, whose Stockholm photographs were presented to French perfumers for interpretation as fragrances. The brand treats photography and scent as parallel forms of interpretation, prompting personal associations rather than prescribing a single meaning. The first public launch, announced in 2015 for release in Stockholm, comprised N°1, N°2 and N°3. The collection later broadened its visual starting points from urban Stockholm to photographs of transformed plants and flowers. Its fragrances were composed in collaboration with Givaudan and Mane, with documented early perfumers including Céline Ripert, Christian Vermorel and Nadège Le Garlantezec.
