Founded in 2002 by Mohamed Al Asfoor, Designer Shaik is a Bahrain-based luxury-goods brand that began across perfume, timepieces, and fashion accessories. Its identity draws on the mystique of the Arabian shaik persona and the romanticism of Arabian heritage, expressed through the imagined figure of a desert prince and an East–West synthesis of precision, fragrance, and style. The perfume line appeared in 2007 with the Opulent Blue collection, comprising Opulent Shaik No. 33 for women and Opulent Shaik No. 77 for men. The fragrance range is organized around recurring Opulent, Chic, Sochi, Amber Kroud, Classic, and Precious concepts. Opulent Shaik No. 77 is identified as an award-winning, bestselling fragrance, while the brand’s distinctive bottles have also received industrial-design protection.
