Shaikh Saeed

Shaikh Saeed is a fragrance brand within Shaikh Mohd. Saeed Est., a Dubai-based perfume group founded by the late Shaikh Mohd. Saeed in 1954. The business began with a perfume shop in Al Souk, Deira, identified in family-business history as Al Hunaidi in Deira Old Souk. In 1963, Shaikh Mohammed Saeed established Dhamma Trading Company with his father; the shop was rebranded as Dhammasons and began distributing French fragrances. Over time, the group combined Arabic, Oriental, and Western fragrances with manufacturing, exporting, distribution, retail, and private-label services. After the founder’s death in 2009, his son Muhammed Ali took the reins, and a 2023 profile described the Dubai-based group as managed by him, with Shaikh Saeed among its fragrance brands. The group marked its 70th anniversary on October 29, 2023, with the launch of the six-variant Legacy70 fragrance series. Hot Black and Alisha are popular perfumes the group successfully innovated.
