Simone Cosac Profumi

Founded by Brazilian-born, Italian-by-adoption Simone Cosac Naify in 2007–2008, Simone Cosac Profumi developed a creative identity that joined perfume with Renaissance history, Tuscan-garden imagery, beauty, and artistic presentation. Its narrative drew on Naify’s research into Bianca Cappello, the Venetian noblewoman associated with Francesco I de’ Medici and Villa La Tana near Florence. The brand’s first perfume, Perle di Bianca, came from a dream in which Cappello led Naify through the villa’s fragrant gardens; it was first developed with a cosmetologist and later with perfumer Sonia Constant. The brand’s principal lines include Perle di Bianca, Trama, and Atelier, each linked to distinct historical, material, or garden imagery. Trama launched in 2012 with Trama and Trama Nera, followed by four further fragrances in 2014. From 2017, Naify concentrated exclusively on painting, marking a later shift in her own public creative practice.
