Skin Fairytale

Skin Fairytale is a Slovenian skincare company founded by Katarina Fajfar and Matej Dimec. The business was registered on 22 June 2017, while the brand originated when Fajfar developed a balm for her daughter’s severe diaper rash after existing options did not help. It began under the name Organska pravljica, and the Skin Fairytale brand was established in 2018 with Fajfar and a business partner. From that initial child-focused solution, the range broadened to care for children and adults, including sensitive and problematic skin. The brand’s stated approach combines nature and science in products intended to provide effective, safe care without unnecessary compromises. Its focus includes concerns such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, redness, and dryness, making skincare—not fine fragrance—the core of its identity.
