SKLVA

SKLVA is a Ukrainian urban unisex fragrance brand founded in Kyiv in 2017 by indie perfumer Anna Sokolova. Sokolova came to perfumery from medical-device engineering and beauty blogging, studied under independent perfumer Natalia Dyshliuk, and launched the brand with its three-fragrance “at first” collection: sea citrus, vintage powder, and wood iris. SKLVA’s creative identity centers on urbanistic, unisex fragrances and encouraging people to reject imposed stereotypes and express themselves freely. During the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Sokolova began developing SKLVA Freedom in a Kyiv bomb shelter, drawing on Ukrainian freedom, wheat fields, fertile black soil, greenery, and clear blue sky.
