Smelly Yeti

Smelly Yeti Perfumery launched in October 2014 under Abby Kirkwood, who is identified as the brand’s owner and perfume maker. Based in Utah, the vegan brand was presented with a nerd- and fandom-oriented identity, creating themed fragrances inspired by works and fictional worlds including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the film Clue, and Hieronymus Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights. The Hellmouth Collection, explicitly inspired by Buffy and built around character-based scents, is a defining example of that approach. In November 2017, Smelly Yeti entered an approximately two-year hiatus while Abby attended graduate school. Its official website currently states that the store is closed.
