Soma Parfums

Soma Parfums was developed by Dan Rothschild, whose concept took more than two years to reach launch by July 2022. The brand grew from Rothschild’s long-term fragrance collecting and his work as the Instagram reviewer known as Fragrance Weirdo. Its creative identity is shaped by cinematic, memory-based concepts that Rothschild turns into fragrance briefs, working through repeated iterations with perfumers rather than composing the fragrances himself. The resulting formulations were developed with Cyrille Carles, who extracts oils, blends, and ages the compositions. Soma presents its fragrances across Eternal, Modern, Oud, and collaboration collections, reflecting a broad house structure under the Soma name. In February 2023, it introduced a distinct oud-focused collection made with genuine oud. Soma Parfums Limited was incorporated in the United Kingdom in September 2022, and Companies House recorded the entity as dissolved by compulsory strike-off on 4 March 2025.
