SP Parfums

SP Parfums was founded in Germany in 2016 by Sven Pritzkoleit after he closed the family-owned pharmacy where he had worked. A pharmacist and self-taught perfumer, Pritzkoleit began the brand with the Essential Collection, a group of five fresh and five woody scents shaped by vintage-style classic perfumery, new molecules, woods, and animalic accords. His first real composition, Pink Patchouli, dates to 2006, and he published the German-language perfume book Duftspuren in 2016. SP Parfums later collaborated with Miguel Matos on the SP Private Perfume Collection, inspired by Matos’s Portuguese roots and childhood memories. Powder & Dust, created with Yana Tommelise, won the Artisan category at the 2019 Art and Olfaction Awards. The brand was discontinued in December 2020; its award-winning Powder & Dust formula was sold to Zoologist and reappeared as Cockatiel in August 2022.
