Spagnolo

Spagnolo grew out of the Lamparero family’s textile business, whose documented industrial history reaches back to 1933. After evolving from cotton textiles and mechanical looms into garment production, the family launched the Spagnolo clothing label in Seville in 2005. The brand began with menswear, added womenswear in 2009, and entered childrenswear in 2013. Its public identity is tied to Spanish national symbolism: the logo features two crossed Spanish flags and the slogan “Comprometidos con lo nuestro.” Spagnolo extended its fashion identity into fragrance with its first men’s perfume, reported in 2015, followed by a men’s fragrance collection announced in July 2020 comprising Agua Fresca, Sport, and Esencia. In 2021, Spain’s Supreme Court confirmed protection for the brand’s specific typographic and graphic arrangement in a long-running trademark dispute. Reporting in 2025 described Spagnolo as remaining under Lamparero family control and operating without external financing.
