Spectra Mini’s origins trace to Damascus in 1968, when pharmacist Walid Madfai began experimenting with flower distillation and making perfumes. The brand describes itself as a third-generation family business. Its name refers to an Arabic synonym associated with spectrum or fantasy, while its fragrance concept connects scent with memory and personal associations. Since 2016, Mini Spectra LLC has provided perfumes and cosmetics; the privately held company is headquartered in Dubai. Spectra Mini is the brand’s compact, pocket-sized fragrance format, with products sold under the Spectra name. A Canadian trademark record documents “SPECTRA Perfumes by Cesar Madfai,” filed in 2016 by Parfums Cesar Madfai Perfumes Inc., with Canadian use claimed from August 6, 2015.
