Spiritum

Spiritum is a Paris perfume house founded by Jonathan Dufour and born in 2022. Its concept emerged in February 2020 after Dufour’s shamanic retreat in Peru, where the scents of sage, incense, and sandalwood became the foundation for the house’s creations. The brand’s creative identity joins niche perfumery with numerology, translating the symbolic meanings and energies of numbers into olfactory compositions. Its first major collection, Numerus, interprets the personalities of numbers one through nine; Dufour developed it with perfumers Bertrand Duchaufour and Philippe Paparella-Paris, who worked independently on the nine fragrances. On its first anniversary, 21 April 2023, Spiritum launched Shamanism, a fragrance associated with the beginning of Dufour’s spiritual awakening and the birth of the house. Shamanism is Spiritum’s bestseller. The house later extended its numerological framework to the master numbers 11, 22, and 33, announced for late 2023.
