Fragrance house
Statik Olfactive
Statik Olfactive was established in October 2023 by owner and founder Chris Martin in Boynton Beach, Florida, after a personal fragrance project he began in 2020 took about three years to reach public release. The project produced Into the Wild, created with perfumer Darren Alan, and the fragrance initiated the brand. Martin’s creative premise uses scent to evoke memory, emotion, places, and moments, creating what Statik Olfactive describes as static imagery through olfactive scent. His approach pairs a fragrance narrative or scene with an independent perfumer whose style suits the brief, while named collaborators and creative freedom remain part of the brand’s public identity. In 2026, Crème de Menthe Café was selected as a finalist in the Independent category of the Art and Olfaction Awards, credited to perfumer Hez Binkowitz and creative director Martin. That year, Statik Olfactive also entered Olfactif’s curated fragrance-subscription ecosystem through Cherry Noire and Dead or Alive.
