Stella Cadente
Stella Cadente is the fashion and design label created in 1991 by designer Stanislassia Klein, who adopted the name as her creative identity. Beginning with jewelry and accessories, the label expanded into clothing in 1995 and presented its first official-calendar runway show at the Carrousel du Louvre in 1998. Its work spans fashion, accessories, interior design, decoration, and fragrance, with unconventional combinations of color and material and a narrative, poetic atmosphere. After Klein met photographer Florian Claudel in 2007, they developed Stella Cadente Studio for creative and artistic direction across fashion, beauty, design, and interior architecture. The brand’s fragrance history includes a 2002 exclusive Clarins license for cosmetics, under which Miss Me and related body products were produced. In 2008, Luxembourg company Malgajata acquired a portfolio of Stella Cadente and Miss Me trademarks and licensed them to Stella Victoire for cosmetics and fragrances. Miss Me, launched in 2005, is identified as the brand’s first perfume and was created with perfumer Annick Ménardo; it also reached the top of Sephora sales that year. Today, Stella Cadente presents an identity that deliberately unsettles boundaries between masculine and feminine, light and shadow, beauty and ugliness, and fashion and fixed norms.
