Stories Parfums
Stories Parfums launched in late 2018 after Tonya Kidd-Beggs travelled to Grasse, France, to learn perfumery and create a bespoke fragrance. Founded by Kidd-Beggs and based on Northern Ireland’s North Down coast, the house treats fragrance as a medium for memory, emotion and personal storytelling, with an emphasis on intuitive, inclusive and sustainable niche perfumery. Perfumery helped reconnect Kidd-Beggs with childhood memories lost after trauma, leading her to create scents intended to help people connect with their own stories. She develops fragrances through blind smelling and an intuitive response to raw materials, without beginning from trends or fixed concepts. The core collection comprises STORIES Nº.01 and STORIES Nº.02, whose numbers were chosen to avoid labels and preconceptions. Nº.02 is tied to memories of Kidd-Beggs’s grandfather’s garden and, in October 2025, was selected as the official scent for Roksanda’s Spring/Summer 2026 London Fashion Week show. At that time, Stories Parfums was an independent, founder-led house preparing to seek investment to scale production and expand its fragrance and experiential work.
