Strivectin
StriVectin entered the market in 2002 with StriVectin-SD Intensive Concentrate for Stretch Marks & Wrinkles, establishing an identity around clinically oriented anti-aging skincare. After reports that the stretch-mark cream was being used on facial lines, the brand became associated with peptide-based wrinkle care and repositioned its identity toward facial anti-aging skincare. Its current public identity centers on clinically tested skincare, science-led formulation, skin-barrier support, and proprietary NIA-114 technology, an optimized form of vitamin B3 discovered more than 35 years ago during biomedical research. L Catterton invested in StriVectin in 2009. On August 26, 2021, Crown Laboratories announced an agreement to acquire the brand from L Catterton; the transaction closed by September 21, 2021, and StriVectin became a wholly owned Crown subsidiary within Crown’s Premium Skincare Division.
