Succès de Paris

Created in France on 20 April 1989 as a SARL, Succès de Paris developed fragrances and perfume lines under its own name and for other brands. Its recorded fragrance chronology begins with Dreaming Princess in 1994, followed by Fujiyama in 1995, Polemic in 1999, and Irena Gregori in 2000. Akila Boumaza is credited as perfumer for Dreaming Princess and Polemic, while Martin Gras is credited for Fujiyama and Irena Gregori; Pierre Dinand is associated with the creation of Dreaming Princess. The documented range included amber floral-spicy, floral woody-musky, floral green, and floral fruity styles. Official records later listed the company in liquidation proceedings, and a 2008 notice recorded closure of the liquidation procedure for insufficient assets.
